When should I schedule a Home Inspection?
We recommend scheduling a Home Inspection as soon as you can! If you have a property under contract, we recomend scheduling asap. A home inspection is a great way to determine any potential issues the home may be experiencing. This doesn't have to be during the sale of the home.
What if the Home Inspection reveals issues with the property?
If the Home Inspection is done during the sale of the home and reveals issues with the property, you can use this information to negotiate with the seller for either repairs or a price reduction. In some cases, you may choose to walk away from the purchase entirely. If you opted for a home inspection and your not selling your home the decision is yours as to how you would like to proceed with the results, we can certainly help with this aswell!.
Can I request additional services during the Home Inspection?
Yes, we offer additional home inspection services such as radon testing along with a full variaty of services for your heating and cooling system. Contact us for a personalized quote based on your specific needs.
What is an annual home health check up?
An annual home health check up is very similar to a check up done at the doctor's office. Some inspection firms will have something they call an annual maintenance inspection, while what they are offering may sound the same as a home health check up it may not be. We focus mainly on the "Vitals" of the home with our home health check up, we will check outlets for ground faults, light switches for proper operation, water and drainage systes for active leaks, floor joists in crawlspace for any water damage or deterioration, attic spaces for roof leaks or truss damage. Once those are checked we will check around exterior of the home for foundation or siding issues, and the roof for potential issues. This process is usually pretty quick compared to an in depth home inspection since the inspection is checking for more smaller details.
